MiNDSiGHT app for iPhone and iPad
Developer: Luke Charman
First release : 11 Nov 2014
App size: 77.43 Mb
MiNDSiGHT is an interactive audio adventure which uses binaural recording techniques to tell an immersive superhero story purely by sound.
Immerse yourself in the role of blind protagonist Ethan Lewis as he embarks on a journey with his faithful sidekick Alix to rescue his sister from the maniacal villain, Dexter. On the way, he, and you, will have to overcome challenging audio-based puzzles to reach the roof of Dexters headquarters and save his sister.
MiNDSiGHT is controlled entirely by simply swiping up, down, left, or right on the screen, and plays out like a combination between a radio drama and a choose-your-own-adventure novel, allowing you to solve fun and challenging puzzles using nothing but your ears, mind, and reflexes!
This game was created as part of a degree thesis as an educational exploration into the potential for delivering rich, interactive drama using conventional stereo audio enriched with binaural recording techniques.

I rather enjoyed this game, it is a refreshing change to see another game that doesnt worry about fancy graphics, and focuses more on a good story. Playing this, I was able to close my eyes and visualize everything in my head, which I thought was nice. I just wish there was a bit more story in the game. It is interesting, but rather short. I think you guys should make a second installment, I am sure there is another villain they could fight, and more puzzles to be solved.
MiNDSiGHT sounded so awesome....but I couldnt really understand how to use it....
The audio is beautifully simple and makes full use of both ears. The quiet whispers make you really focus to hear whats going on and act accordingly. Though very short it was a wonderful thing to pass the time with. I personally love these types of games and I think this is beautiful!
Really looking forward to playing this game, but it wont download completely. Other apps will, so I dont think this problem is on my end.
I liked the idea of this game, I just wish I could figure out how to play it. Absolutely no instructions on what to do.
